REPORT 001

A short mockumentary in the form of a field journal. An artist has observed pigeons for five years. The observation gradually shifts from the domestic — a kitchen window, a balcony, a courtyard — towards the language of an institution: protocols, file numbers, measured frames. In the final shot the camera settles on a flock of pigeons looking in unison, and a line appears: “Observation has been underway since 2021.” The observer was the subject all along.
